Current Layout Information
You're currently seeing the first layout for The Shark and the Weasel.
As always, the layout was designed with Paint Shop Pro 7 and some of
the editing was made also with Photoshop CS.
The site was coded and tested by using Microsoft Frontpage and Notepad.
This layout was designed at the end of May 2009, and it has been online since 25th May 2009, same day the whole design and coding was completed.
The layout should work fine for any 800x600 screen resolution and higher. It's being tested in both Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox, and apparently it has no problems displaying in either of them.
Designer's Review
Before actually begin working on this design, I already had some different layouts in mind. However, this one is not like any of these I thought at first. Truth is I had to disregard some of my initial ideas because I just couldn't find the proper images to work with.
In the end I found some high quality art of Kisame and Itachi in the Naruto Databooks, so
with the idea of doing something temporary, I began working on the layout.
As I got farther in the editing I noticed that the outcome was becoming good enough to be
something temporary. I'm kind of perfectionist, and as I always do my best in any design I
do, it was just natural that I wouldn't stop the editing until I came up with something
I actually liked.
And so I ended up with this little thing. I'm actually happy with how it turned out. Truth said,
I didn't expect to come up with anything good. But now I realise one thing: I'm not the kind
of person to do temporary layouts... XD
I have no skill to leave things simple, no matter how I try, I always look for more. :D
But I guess that's not bad at all, is it? ;P
It took me 2 days to finish the layout, though the first day I did little more than choosing the images to use. The next day I began working on the layout as soon as I came back home from a really boring lesson (XD) and spent the whole day working until I had finished both main design and coding.
I actually had a lot of fun doing this thing, and the final outcome managed to make me happy. :3 Hope you enjoy it as well!! ;)
