About Live and Learn

Being one of my favourite games ever, one of these games that got me playing for long hours and never got me bored, naturally I couldn't resist applying for it. Finally on 22nd May 2009 I got an approval from the category staffers. Thank you so much for letting me take care of this one~! ♥

As soon as I received the approval, I already had in mind a name for the fanlisting. Live and Learn is the name for the main theme song of the game, and I thought it would work nice as a title for the fanlisting.

Also I thought from the very beginning on having this site skinned. I've been wanting to use Site Skin script with any of my fanlistings for a while, but I didn't know it was so easy to use and, thinking that figuring out how it worked would take me much time, I ended up not doing so.

But for this fanlisting skinning just seemed so perfect: different layouts themed on different characters just sounded too good for resisting! And so, I finally decided to check out Site Skin. Surprinsingly enough, it is extremely easy to use, and so my only regret is not having used it before.

Once installed, I finished the first site layout and uploaded it along with all the content on 31st May 2009. The current layout has been tested in both Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox, and seems to be working fine under both.

It displays, however, slightly better under Mozilla Firefox, so I'd highly suggest using this one to navigate through this site. Internet Explorer seems to be displaying the absolute positioned elements in the wrong places, being that specially annoying when it comes to the navigation links description, since they don't show up correctly.

As for the resolution, it adjust to almost everything, since it was designed to work under any screen resolution 800 x 600 or higher.

What's a fanlisting?

If you're having troubles guessing what a fanlisting is all about, then this might be of some help for you to understand the idea.

"A fanlisting is simply an online listing of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join.

There are no costs, and the only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name and country.

Fanlistings do not have to be large sites (although some are) - they are just a place where you can have your name listed along with other fans of the same subject..."
